The public area is part of your Virtual U website. It will generally contain the following features, with a layout that looks like your existing website's pages.
- Curriculum index page that summarizing each class with link to class description pages.
- Class description page for each class (to present class content, schedule, cost, link to instructor bio).
- Instructor index page listing all the instructors who have presented courses at your school.
- Instructor bio page including a picture and some credibility-building text.
- Student bio page including brief description and contact information.
- Student registration page to be originated and updated by Students.
- Class registration and secure payments pages. (Register for class by class number, receive immediate response).
- E-mail confirmation of registration with class title, schedule, instructor, phone number, student, instructor, and registrar.
With your credit card merchant account, you may run credit card charges at your office. Most of our customers use an online processing service (gateway) to process registrations in real time. We presently support: AuthorizeNet, ECX and Iongate.
